1. How to get from Padang Bai, Bali to Gili Trawangan ?
The best way to get from Padang Bai Bali to Gili Trawangan Island is via fastboats. There are two departures per day so be sure to plan your trip accordingly. If you are prone to motion sickness, we strongly recommend you take travel sickness tablets 1 hour(s) before the activity time.

2. What you can do in Gili Trawangan?
You should plan to spend a lot of time by the water in Gili Trawangan as there are lots of activities. You can go snorkeling, boating, diving, relax at the beaches, bike around the island, go island hopping, take a day trip to Lombok, go scuba diving, catch an epic sunset, visit the Gili T swings, fishing.The island is also known for its nightlife and has lots of beach bars. Gili Trawangan is beautiful all year around, but it is driest between June and September.

4. How To Book Fast Boat Tickets
Click on a booking form to the destination. Choose one-way ticket, or a return ticket.  Choose the dates of travel.  Select boats name and departure time from one island  to another island. Tup on "+" to add new peopl in your booking list. Fill the detail of contact and passengers. If you use a boat with shuttle service, please fill the pickup detail (your hotel address). Please note : This shuttle service is shared with the other passengers, not for private. If you need ours assists please  contact us via email, WhatsApp or online chat.

6 Please note:
- children under 2 years old don’t need a ticket;
- you have to return from the Gili Islands no later than 2 days before departure from Bali;
- ferry transfer to / from the Gili Islands might be necessary in case of bad weather in the Lombok Strait;
Due to the high season since May 1 till August 31, tickets to the Gili Islands cannot be exchanged. If you are unable to travel on the dates you have chosen, your tickets will be considered used. Please keep this fact in mind when booking tickets in advance.

9 .What safety equipment is on board?
All boats are certified to International Safety Management standard and carry life-jackets, life-rafts, ship to shore radio, distress flares, throw rings, fire-fighting equipment and EPIRB. The Electronic Position Indicating Radio Beacon sends out a distress signal automatically for at least three days after being immersed in water, for detection by rescue services

10 .How much baggage can I bring on board?
Up to 25kg check in (of usual proportions) and a hand carry baggage.

11 .What insurance coverage do you provide?
Passenger liability covers all passengers up to 65 years of age are covered for up to IDR 700,000,000 for death or dismemberments and IDR 70,000,000 hospitalisation.

12 .How long is the boat trip and road trip to/ from the harbour?
This depends on time of day and how many guests are being picked up and dropped off. Early in the morning From Central Bali to Padang Bai (East Bali departure) takes around 1 hour after last guest have been picked up for the early 8.00am departure, a little longer for drop off.

13 .I have a connecting flight out of Bali is in the evening. Will I make it on time?
As explained in our terms and conditions, Ekajaya Fastboat is a point to point carrier and we take no responsibility for missed connections. We always recommend travelling the day before your homebound flight for peace of mind, especially in peak season when alternate means of transport are usually full if the trip is cancelled for any reason.

14 .What if I want to change my travel dates or cancel my trip?
Changes cannot be made within 48 hours of travel, but outside of that yes re-scheduling is no problem as long as we have seats available.
– Without any charge: 7 days before the departure date.
– Between 3 days and 6 days will be charged 50% from the total ticket value.
– Between 2 days and 0 days will be charged 100% from the total ticket value.
– No show will be charged 100% from the total ticket value
Please note that these fees do not occur if the trip is cancelled due to force majeur (eg bad weather, or cancelled flights due to volcanic activity).Is there a risk of cancellation due to bad weather, or force majeure, and what happens?
This sometimes happens, though is very unusual outside of rainy season (January – March). We always inform passengers as soon as possible when a cancellation occurs, and offer the following options:
1) Reschedule for another day – subject to availability
2) Cancel trip, make your own arrangements and get full refund of your ticket price
3) Take slow ferry, with a partial refund of ticket price, depending on costs incurred for the alternate transport. Land transport is provided in Lombok. Ekajaya Fastboat staff member will guide passengers on throughout the trip to deal with tickets etc

15 .How should I make a reservation and pay the ticket?
Online is the best option, where we offer live availability and instant confirmation. You simply need to select your route and date and fill in the details provided. Payment is easy with credit card or cash in our office at Padang Bai. Alternatively you can call our reservations numbers anytime from 8.00am to 9.00pm or visit any of our offices. We do not recommend showing up without having made a reservation as we often get full during busy periods. For some last minute bookings (eg by phone the day before), we can offer the option of payment upon departure.
Can I book through a tour desk after I arrive in Bali?
We strongly advise against using small tour desks in Bali, Gilis and Lombok. Book direct with us to get best discounts and reliable information. Many small kiosks are unlicensed and you have zero chance of getting any refund if things go wrong, and mis-communications are common – eg people get booked onto the wrong boat. Booking directly with gilifastway.com is highly recommended.

16 .Will you pick me up and drop me off at my hotel in Bali?
Yes, we provide paid private shuttles for all areas. The cost for a private shuttle starts from Rp. 375,000 per car for central area (Sanur, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Tanjung Benoa, central Ubud and Padang Bay). For some areas have free meeting points. We also provide group transfer by a minibus. Cost from 50.000 per person one way. Please note that in district distant minibus cannot deliver. You must use a taxi or a private transfer.

17. What if I haven’t booked my hotel yet, so cannot tell you yet where to pick me up?
No problem, just let us know when you have made your arrangements. Please note that if you do not tell us at least 24 hours before hand, we may not be able to provide transport.

18. Can I bring animals on board the ship?
Pets are not allowed onboard the ship.
